Die Hard Water Problem

This activity introduces students to the concept of greatest common factors. The activity would work for any age group, but it would be especially appropriate for students who have learned modular arithmetic. The activity can serve as an introduction to number theory or in an abstract algebra class when discussing generators of finite cyclic groups. The activity is not yet finished.
