Active Calculus 1.3 Derivative at a Point
This is an adaptation of Preview Activity 1.3 from the textbook Active Calculus. The activity walks students through the visual process of setting up a derivative at a point and helps the students to see that h should tend to 0 to get a better estimate of instantaneous velocity. Students should read the section and/or watch the screencasts prior to completing this activity.
