Active Calculus 5.3 Integration by Substitution

This is an adaptation of Preview Activity 5.3 from the textbook Active Calculus. We remind students of the chain rule for differentiation and then compute several derivatives where the inside function is a linear expression. We then antidifferentiate the same functions. The focus is more on how to integrate basic functions than on formally demonstrating the chain rule. Students should read the section and/or watch the screencasts prior to completing this activity.
