Applications of Linear Equations in Standard Form

In this activity, students recognize and identify solutions to 2-variable equations. They will represent the solution set graphically and create 2-variable equations to represent a situation. Students will also understand that the graph of the line ax + by = c is a visual representation of the solution set to the equation ax + by = c. This lesson pairs nicely with Eureka Math/Engage NY Algebra Module 1 Lesson 20.
