Use this activity with Engage NY Algebra Module 2 Lesson 12. Student Outcomes: -Students will determine if there is a relationship between two numerical variables, and if so they will describe that relationship. -Students distinguish between scatter plots that display a relationship that can be reasonably modeled by a linear equation and those that should be modeled by a nonlinear equation. Teacher Notes: You can tell students that going into the folders can cause problems with the features of the page, and they will not be able to do the task if this happens. Show them how to turn objects on and off by clicking the circle on the left of the object.
