Who Finishes First?

In this activity, students develop and apply their understanding of definite integrals to answer a series of questions about velocity-time graphs. The content goals of the activity are flexible, and can include any of the following: counting squares, trapezoid rule, fundamental theorem of calculus. Note: Challenges 5 and 6 require the fundamental theorem of calculus, and knowledge of the functions: y = 11x^0.5 (blue), y = 20x^0.3 (red)
