Polygons on the Coordinate Plane

In this activity, students find areas of a rectangle, a triangle, and a parallelogram on a coordinate plane. They consider the relationships between the coordinates of the vertices and the polygons' dimensions, and between the areas of the various figures. Adapted from CPM CCC1 Problem 5-89.
