Crazy Eights

A "mash-up" of a card sort and number talks for dot diagrams with eight dots. The activity can easily be modified to include different diagrams and/or different numbers of dots . . . of course, then you would need to change the title as well! Challenge level increases as you proceed through the activity, providing built-in differentiation for students. Not all students will necessarily complete all screens. Use dashboard to identify creative thinking and snapshots to share original ideas during whole class discussions.
