Combinatorial Games and Strategy

Students are challenged to come up with a winning strategy for a game that consists of moving a token along a grid allowing only certain moves. Along the way they learn the technique of backtracking to find the winning strategy. The activity ends with 5 bonus challenges. These bonus problems might be good for homework problems as extra credit or just as a challenge for more advanced sutdents.
