Complete the Quadrilateral

This activity is from Don Steward’s post Complete the Quadrilateral, with images created by Fawn Nguyen. Given one side, students must construct the specified quadrilateral with the largest possible area. This task requires students to have an precise understanding of the definitions of specific quadrilaterals and is also a great introduction to slope of parallel and perpendicular lines.
