Classification of Solutions

In this activity students will solve linear equations and classify according to the number of solutions, developing strategies over time to do so more efficiently. Before this activity, students should have experience solving multi-step linear equations, including equations with variables on both sides and equations where each side can be simplified before applying the properties of equality.
