Donut Extravaganza

Students will explore how donut size affects the size of a donut box and consider the relationship between length/diameter of a donut and the volume of the box. (Teachers may consider using this task to engage students in making sense of a problem and constructing viable arguments around a data set and a scatter plot. Students will need to know how to calculate the volume of a rectangular prism)
