Racing Dots (Adapted)

This is an adaptation (in progress) of the Racing Dots activity created by Desmos. The goal is to provide the conceptual basis, and motivation, for solving systems of linear equations-- to cause the headache for which algebraic methods of solving systems of linear equations will be the aspirin (to paraphrase Dan Meyer). During the discussion that followed this lesson (link below) we were able to co-develop a nice approach for solving systems of two linear equations.
