Investigating The Best Can Design

Based on a classic optimisation problem, this task requires students to use their analytical skills to research, create their own problem, and write a recommendation based on their mathematical findings. Main portion of the problem uses algebra and graphing software. Can be extended to use calculus (in particular requires power rule for finding derivatives).
