Box Plots

Build a better intuition for how box plots relate to data and dot plots. This activity assumes that students already know what dot plots are and can create box plots given a set of data. They should already be familiar with the five-number summary that defines the quartiles of a box plot (minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, maximum).
