[FT] AMPLIFY 6.6.04: Truth and Equations

Students explore what it means for an equation with a variable to be true or false (MP2). They use systematic substitution (MP8) to determine whether a number is a solution to an equation, making the equation true, by evaluating to check for equality (MP1). Students further demonstrate their understanding by explaining how they determine values that make equations true or false, defending their results, and also exploring and critiquing the work of others during a Gallery Walk (MP3).
