The purpose of this Readiness Check is to understand what knowledge and skills students already have about scale, area, and units of measurement. Notes: • This Readiness Check is optional and can be given in its entirety before the unit begins or spread throughout the unit. • A paper version is also available. • This may take less than a full class period to complete.
