Pattern Block Piles

In this activity, students use images of pattern blocks to first work with whole number relationships between the various blocks and then move to fractional relationships. Students are encouraged to use real pattern blocks to explore the relationships (or virtual ones found here https://mathies.ca/learningTools.php#Pp1 ). The activity is self checking so students could work at their own pace.
