4.5 Systems of Linear Inequalities Introduction

30-45 minutes Provides an introduction to systems of linear inequalities using a "real" concept of managing a pet boarding business. Constraints on aspects of the business limit the total number of cats and dogs the business can board in a week. Students should be familiar with the concept of a linear inequality. This is activity is a "spiritual" follow up to 3.5 Linear Inequalities , which first introduced linear inequalities. There are 3 slides of a game at the end of the activity that students who finish early can play. It is from the Adding Integers activity, which I did not create.
