How do I get it to check ANY equivalent expression?

Slide 1 will check for 2x+3. It will not check for 2x +3 or 2x+ 3 or any other variation. How do I code it to check for any of those variations? I DO NOT KNOW how to use the evaluate feature to accomplish that goal.
