This is a revamped edition for E-learning This is an activity to discover the patterns in 30 60 90 right triangles. It fits into our unit after we have talked about similarity and dilations, Pythagorean triples-similar right triangles and comes before right triangle trig. We are trying to emphasize that these are all families of similar triangles/dilations. This edition specifically emphasizes using SCALE FACTOR with the "parent Pre-Image" 1-2sqrt3, find scale factor, and use it for the dilated similar triangle. 2021 edition
