What's Missing?
This lesson is a continuation of students’ work with percentages in Lessons 8 and 9. In this lesson, students create tape diagrams, double number lines, and tables to solve problems with percentages. The focus of this lesson is on determining which quantity is missing (the part, percentage, or whole), and then choosing a representation to make sense of the situation and answer the question. Note: This is the first lesson where students are asked to calculate an unknown percentage.
