Growth Factor and Investments (Financial Algebra 5.2)
In this activity, students explore the exponential growth of investments. They start with a variation of the "penny problem", where they compare a lump sum, linear function, and exponential function. They identify real-world personal finance scenarios as linear or exponential growth. Finally, they compare the growth of two similar exponential functions with different growth factors. This activity is part of NGPF's free Financial Algebra course (Application FA-5.2, Level 1).
