Number Strings: Decimal Operations and Place Value

A series of Number Strings involving the relationship between decimal operations and place value. Copy a slide and use as a Start Task within another activity, or use pacing to focus on only one string. Have students complete independently and share their thinking using snapshots or present as whole class Number Talk String. Text box and sketch screes provided for students to share their thinking. "Success Stars" will be revealed for each task. (You may eliminate this feature by "hiding" the CheckButton.) Links to multi-slide versions available the the Teacher notes of each slide.
