Six Sliding Spots Integers and Rational Numbers

A series of "clothesline" type activities involving integers and rational numbers. Students drag six labeled points to appropriate locations on a number line. Optional "star" appears when points are accurately located. Space to provide explanation for selected positions. Copy a slide and use as a Start Task within another activity, or use pacing to focus on only one slide. Have students complete independently and share their thinking using snapshots or present as whole class activity.
