Logarithm-adding squirrel game
This game is to help people get a feel for the fact that log a + log b = log ab. The goal is to stack two logs such that the sum of their logs is equal to the log of the target. Students can control the difficulty level, with higher amounts of difficulty offering more points per trial. At difficulty-level 1, they simply need to find two prime factors that, when multiplied, result in the target amount. At difficulty-level 2, they need to use the fact that log(a^b) = b log a. At level three, they need to deal with fractional exponents. Please e.mail any questions, comments or feedback to rajeev.raizada@gmail.com
