Linear Regression Introduction
Students learn about lines of best fit by "eyeballing" a line to data involving the amount of profit a business earns based upon advertising dollars spent. Students use their equation to calculate the profit based upon various advertising budgets and vice versa. Finally, students learn the definition of the regression line of best fit and how to compute it using Desmos. Student knowledge of linear equations in slope-intercept form is assumed.
