4-2 Common Key Features

In this activity, students will be presented with problems to work on in teams on vertical, non-permanent surfaces. They will insert pictures of their board work on each slide and use the last 10 minutes of each period to summarize what they learned on the day's problem set. These problems has students describe key features of function and solve for the intercepts for linear, absolute value, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial, radical and rational functions. Students will also use their knowledge of these functions to create fences to complete a farm and create a personal art project.
