Right Triangle Repeated Practice Screens (Trigonometry and Pythagorean Theorem)
Repeated practice with summary screens. You can change the number required to complete in the graphSummary component CL. Checkmark will only show on the dashboard once they have reached that many correct answers. But the summary screen in teacher view will indicate how many they got right, color coded. 1) Two similar right triangles - set up a proportion equation and solve for a missing side 2) Use slope ratio from table to find missing side. (This does not use exact trig function values - it's a scaffold based on the CPM approach to having students create a trig table by drawing triangles with specific angles.) 3) Identifying opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse. 4) Tool for seeing how to connect slope ratio with slope angle (based on CPM approach). 5) Given three sides, determine the exact ratios. 6) Given a side and an acute angle. Use trig to calculate missing side. Can set which type of ratio (sin, cos, tan) you want it to use in the CL. 7) Use the pythagorean theorem to find a missing side. 8) Find the distance between two points. 9) Find an acute angle given two legs.
