Playing With Fractions

In this lesson, students explore how they can use fractions to produce satisfying, groovy music. They have the opportunity to see fractions as representing spans of time, that play back at different rates depending on their length. This lesson provides a way to lay out fractions bars, change their sound, change their musical pitch, and generally play with fractions in a new way!
