The Pirates and the Diamond

Source: A Pirate's Diamond Desmos activity was adapted from Peter Liljedahl's book "Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics Grades K - 12". This activity is suggested for Grades 10-12 according to page 229 in his book. Mr. Liljedahl sources Josephus problem as inspiration.
