Perimeter Rhythms Part V: Track Tempo
In this lesson, students explore ratios and algebraic operations to affect the speed of two tracks of music. Instead of manipulating individual shapes, as in the previous lessons in this series, here we ask students to manipulate the sums of a set of perimeters and multiply those totals to find ways to make them equal. The multiplier is the tempo of the track itself, multiplying the speed of each individual shape.
