This Math Routine takes about 10 minutes and can be used at the start of class to build engagement, encourage discourse, and develop number sense. Today's Goals • Develop number sense. • Language Goal: Count to answer how many. (Speaking and Listening) Prep Checklist • Click Project Screens to show this activity to the class. • Select how long an image is projected for: 1, 2, or 3 seconds; or ∞ (which keeps the image projected). • Screens 1-3 show ten frames; Screens 4-12 show ten frames and ones.
