Graphing x & Y coordinates and writing equations

This lesson introduces students to identify the x and y coordinate on a graph. The lesson begins with plotting coordinates on a graph. Then it transitions into determing the slope. After 4 slope practices, the students begins to determine the y- intercept. The lesson terminates with writind the y=mx +b equation by calcaluating the slope and finding the y- intercept. There are numerous opportunities for the student to express their confidence level at each section.
