Grade 2: Finding Number Pairs That Make 10

Students understand addend pairs that are equal to 10. Teachers will present a screen that shows number bars, and model how they can find different addend pairs that are equal to, or the same length as, the 10 number bar. Students then practice writing equations with addend pairs that equal 10 and explain what patterns they notice.
