Graphing Transformations of Parent Functions
Students graph `af\left(b\left(x-h\right)\right)+k` given a parent function of either `y=x^{2}`, `y=x^{3}`, `y=\sqrt{x}`, or `y=\left|x\right|`. This activity provides repeated practice and individual problem templates - edit and then copy/paste as needed to your activity. Repeated Practice: Open the graph CL to turn on/off any of the `a,b,h,k` parameters. You can also set the required number of problems, and limit to a single parent function if desired. Individual Problems: Open the graph CL to set the parameters and to choose the type of parent function. One template allows students to try again after seeing the answer, and the other does not. @dwekselgreene.bsky.social
