[Copy of] Creating Art in Desmos

60+ minutes | This activity introduces Algebra 1 students to creating artwork in the Desmos Graphing Calculator. Through a series of challenges and exploration, students will add circles, polygons, and custom colors to their tool belt and revisit linear, quadratic, and exponential functions with picture completion challenges. Students will also unlock inequalities and domain and range restrictions as a tool for creating more defined artwork. The activity culminates in a class gallery where students will design their own unique artwork given guidelines supplied by the teacher.
