Primary Focus of Lesson Foundational Skills • Students will read the following Tricky Words: he, she, we, be, me, they, their, my, by, you, and your. • Students will distinguish words with long vowel, vowel-consonant-‘e’ sound/spellings from words with short vowel sound/spellings. Reading • Students will read “King and Queen” with purpose and understanding, and will answer literal, inferential, and evaluative questions about the story.
