Language • Students will demonstrate understanding of the Tier 2 word cautiously and apply knowledge of the suffix -ly as a clue to the meaning of the word. Writing • Students will use a story map and collaborate to plan a narrative retelling of a story. Formative Assessment • Exit Pass: Beginning, Middle, or End: Students will identify in writing whether a part of the story happened in the beginning, middle, or end.
