Primary Focus of Lesson Foundational Skills • Students will read the Tricky Words are, were, some. Writing • Students will listen as the teacher rereads “The Milk” aloud, and will complete a graphic organizer in anticipation of rewriting the story. Language (Spelling) • Students will add the inflectional ending –ing to the ends of root words, dropping the final ‘e’ where necessary.
