Reading • Students will read “The Cat and Mouse Keep House” independently and will answer written multiple-choice and short-answer questions about key details in the text. • Students will read “The Fox and the Cat” with accuracy, appropriate rate, and expression; and will answer oral literal and inferential questions about key details in the text.
