Reading • Students will ask and answer questions to demonstrate understanding of a text, referring explicitly to the text as the basis for their answers. Formative Assessment • Perspective: Story Rewrite Rewrite a scene from the Read-Aloud from Rat’s perspective. • Activity Page 2.2: The Thief Answer questions about the text and cite evidence.
