Summary Fluency Practice, made in collaboration with Math for Love, provides students with daily, personalized fluency practice on math facts. Using the theory of spaced repetition, students more frequently practice the facts they are most likely to forget. When students correctly answer a fact, they will not see that fact again for 1–2 days to a few weeks, depending on how many times they have already correctly answered that fact. If students answer a fact incorrectly, they will see that fact again the next time they practice. Each time students practice, they see a total of 30 flashcards. Teacher Tools Fluency Practice has a separate Teacher Dashboard apart from the teacher tools in Amplify Classroom. The screens in this activity simply provide an overview of this flashcard deck. Changing student assignments and other teacher tools related to Fluency Practice are only available on the Fluency Practice Teacher Dashboard. Recommendations Incorporate Fluency Practice into the daily routine for 5–10 minutes. Students can access Math Fluency Practice on the Apps menu on Student Home or at fluency.amplify.com.
