Reading • Students will partner read “The Fearsome Beast,” and will close read the text by identifying Tier 2 vocabulary, answering text-dependent questions, and discussing difficult passages in the text. Language (Spelling) • Students will read words with ‘y’ > /ee/, /i/, /ie/, and /y/.
