Primary Focus of Lesson Writing • Students will summarize and provide feedback for a peer’s informative writing. • Students will review and use peer feedback for a final revision to their informative writing draft. • Students will use keyboarding skills to incorporate revisions, edit, and produce a clean copy of their informative writing. Formative Assessment • Activity Page 14.1: Partner Feedback Use the rubric to rate an informational text draft and note specific reasons to support their ratings. • Activity Page 14.3: Editing Checklist Identify details to expand informative writing and revise, developing details with related information and examples.
