Phonics—Decoding • Students will read words with /oo/ spelled ‘oo’, ‘ue’, ‘u_e’, and ‘ough’. • Students will identify and read words with vowel team syllables. Morphology • Students will identify the meaning of and use words with the affixes sub– and –ly. Reading • Students will read “Brooklyn and the Baby Baboon” fluently and will answer questions about key details in the text.
