Today's Goals • Define and practice using terms used in lessons. • Language Goal: Students will read vocabulary terms and discuss definitions as well as examples with their group. (Reading, Speaking, and Listening) Create the Game • Create a list of 6–12 words your class should review. The number of terms is completely in your control. • Make a copy of this template, and name it with the science topic and some type of class identifier. Example: Mrs. Taylor 4th Grade - Food Webs • In your activity copy, go into each screen and look for instructions in green. This will help you personalize the game to the exact vocabulary terms you are reviewing in the lesson. Prep Checklist • Put students into groups of 4–5. • Click "Present" when you are ready to start the lesson. Lesson Preview • Students will take turns spinning the spinner. • Students will then do what is required based on the color the spinner lands on: define it, act it out, provide an example, or make a rhyme.
