Angle-O-Saurus

Students will estimate angles to help Angle-O, the dinosaur, find trees around a circle. They discuss estimation strategies, noticing they can use known angles to determine estimates for other angles. Some students may also choose to explore a variety of different angles they can use to help Angle-O find the same trees. There's even a Challenge Creator where your students can place their own trees for their classmates to find! Today's Goals: • Use reasoning and known angles to estimate other angles.
