Resilient Ramps

In this task, students will decide how long of a ramp should be built between a pier and a floating dock. After making sense of the situation by discussing four possible scenarios, they will design a ramp that works, check the functionality of their ramp design, then determine the length of the roller track needed to support the lower end of the ramp.
