🔑 Key Concept for the Week Students build their understanding of length by comparing objects, matching objects that are the same length, and building cube trains that are the same lengths as given objects. They also extend patterns for the first time. Today’s Materials Warm-Up: • Teacher Presentation Screens Small Group Activity: • Centers and Lesson Resources Kit: Cyrus Puppet PDF (for teacher’s use), Sorting Mat A (for students’ use, one for display) • Manipulative Kit: craft sticks (one for display, one per student) • Classroom materials: 15–20 objects to measure, glue stick (for teacher’s use), paper lunch bag (for teacher’s use) • Prepare: Assemble the Cyrus puppet.
